Moving FAQs for Palm Bay, Melbourne and Brevard County

Plan your move with answers about estimates, moving labor, truck and travel charges, packing, and moving-day preparation. For details specific to your job, review your written estimate and service agreement.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Palm Bay, Melbourne, West Melbourne, Viera, Rockledge, Cocoa, Titusville, and surrounding Brevard County communities. For another destination within Florida, contact us to review availability. We do not currently offer interstate moving.

Do you provide a moving truck or just the movers?

We offer both movers with a truck and labor-only moving help. Labor-only service can include loading or unloading rental trucks, portable containers, and freight trailers, as well as moving furniture within your home.

How do I get a free moving estimate?

Use our quote request form or call or text 321-292-6683. Share your addresses, date, inventory, photos, and access details so we can estimate the work. An estimate request does not reserve a date.

What affects the cost of my move?

Crew size, service type, inventory, packing needs, stairs, elevators, walking distances, access, and travel can affect pricing. Your written estimate identifies the rates, minimum hours, and applicable fees. Tell us about changes before moving day so we can review the estimate.

Is there a minimum number of hours?

Minimum hours depend on the service and day booked. Review your written estimate for the applicable minimum, hourly rate, and any truck and travel charge. Additional hourly time is billed in 15-minute increments under your service agreement.

How is the truck and travel charge calculated?

Movers-with-truck services include a minimum truck and travel charge equivalent to one hour at the quoted crew rate. Longer travel to the first address and back to our warehouse may increase the charge. Your estimate shows the applicable amount; ask us to review it before booking.

When should I book, and is an online request a confirmed reservation?

Contact us as early as you know your preferred date, especially for weekends and month-end moves. Availability is confirmed by our office. Sending a form does not guarantee a crew or hold a date; complete the booking requirements in your written confirmation.

Is a deposit required, and what payment methods can I use?

Your estimate or booking documents explain the deposit, accepted payment methods, balance due, and any processing charge. Zelle is an option for deposits. Confirm payment instructions directly with our office before sending money.

Can I reschedule or cancel?

Contact us promptly if your plans change. Review the cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms in your booking documents. A new date remains subject to availability and office confirmation.

Do you pack boxes and provide packing materials?

We offer packing services based on your needs. Ask for packing labor and supplies to be included in the estimate. If you pack yourself, use sturdy boxes, protect fragile contents, close each box, and label the room and any handling instructions.

Can you move pianos or other specialty items?

We review pianos and other specialty items before booking. Send photos, dimensions, approximate weight if known, and details about steps, tight turns, and access. Acceptance depends on the item, route, equipment, and crew needed.

What protection applies if an item is damaged?

Review your valuation selection before service. Released value, when selected and disclosed in your documents, is $0.60 per pound per article, rather than replacement cost. Ask whether additional protection is available for your job and review its written limits and terms. Report concerns promptly with photos and your job information.

Can you help move items into or out of storage?

Yes, we can discuss loading, unloading, rearranging, or organizing items in a storage unit. Tell us the facility, unit size, elevator access, gate hours, and walking distance. Contact us to review your storage-related moving needs and available service options.

What should I do before the crew arrives?

Finish packing unless packing is part of the booked service, label boxes, keep walkways clear, reserve elevators, and arrange authorized parking. Set aside medicines, valuables, important documents, and essential personal items. Secure pets and share any building rules or access codes privately with our office.

Are there items you cannot move or remove?

Hazardous, flammable, explosive, and restricted materials require special handling and may not be accepted. Do not pack fuel, propane, chemicals, or similar materials with household goods. Ask us in advance about firearms, unusually heavy items, perishables, or anything you are unsure about.

Do I need to be present during the move?

You or an authorized representative should be available for the initial walk-through, placement instructions, approvals, and final review. Arrange this with our office if you cannot attend.

Do you offer junk removal?

Yes. Our junk removal service is quoted based on the items, access, handling, and disposal needs. Send photos and tell us what must stay. Restricted or hazardous waste may not be accepted.

Should I tip the movers?

Tips are optional and appreciated. A gratuity is separate from your quoted service charges. If you choose to tip, ask the office or crew about the available options.
